00Preliminary notes

Work performed as digital direct printing with a vertical wall printing system and UV-curable ink on interior wall surfaces. The client provides the wall surface cleared, fully plastered, and painted, with the paint completely dried. If the painting is not provided by the client, item 01.02 applies. The area in front of the wall must be freely accessible for the printing system. The client supplies the design as a file or as specifications (for example logo, color values, sketch); alternatively, it is designed under item 01.05. Printing starts only after the client's written approval of the visualization.

01.01Substrate inspection1 LS

On-site inspection of the wall surfaces to be printed for suitability for direct printing, in particular load-bearing capacity, flatness, and dryness of the paint. Documentation of the results.

01.02Paint as print substrate (optional item)___ m²

Preparing the print substrate if not provided by the client: primer and opaque paint on the plastered wall surface in a light color of the client's choice. Performed by a specialist company only when separately ordered.

FAQ.

Does the wall have to be painted before printing?

Yes. The wall has to be cleared, plastered, and painted, with the paint fully dried. The painter handles this as part of the normal construction schedule. On request, we can also arrange the painting.

Who creates the design?

You supply a finished file or your specifications, which is included in the print price. On request, we create the design for an extra fee.

How environmentally friendly is the ink?

We print with GREENGUARD certified UV ink. The certification stands for low indoor emissions, and according to the manufacturer the ink is also suitable for schools, daycare centers, and clinics. It cures instantly under UV light, with no drying time and no odor. And unlike vinyl or wallpaper, there is no adhesive and no leftover film.

How do I bill for the wall design?

You can agree on the design with your client as an additional design service. The client orders the printing from us, either directly or through your bid documents.

In what format do you deliver the texture for my rendering?

As a high-resolution image file in the proportions of your wall, compatible with common rendering software.

Where do you work?

In the Palatinate and Saarland, Germany. Other locations on request.
